Show Seasons

From controversial comedy theatre, playful interactive origami and dance, powerful gothic characterisation, moving storytelling from Syria and breaking bread, accessible adventures advocating for climate change, Shakespeare down the pub, to multi-instrumentalists joyously sharing sounds from East and West Africa through to Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada – our CRTA Spring 2024 season went down a storm.

A huge thank you to all our Cheshire promoters, and to the visiting artists and companies, Seamas Carey, Club Origami, Heather Alexander, Storm in the North, Nicholas Collett, Touki, Rum Ragged, Forget About The Dog, and Mind The Gap.

Soon to come is our Autumn 2024 season and there’s a show for everyone – think 5* comedic re-enactments of funerals told through hilarious dance theatre, stories of the Lancastrian war-time signer Kathleen Ferrier, heart-warming tales of gardening and growing food and communities coming together, a sinister murder mystery promised to deliver a lot of laughs, the internationally acclaimed Tashi Lhunpo Monks performing their magical masked dance and sacred chants, evocative sounds of folkloric music and gypsy jazz from Canadian musicians, and a lively New Orleans Jazz band and festive Christmas ghost stories to finish. All details will be posted on our What’s On page soon.
